Data residency
Candidate data is stored in EU-region AWS infrastructure (Ireland). Backups stay in-region. We do not transfer personal data to third countries without an SCC in place.
GDPR posture
We act as a data processor under your hiring activity. DPA available on request. Subject access and erasure requests are honoured within statutory timelines, we have a documented process for both.
Access control
Shortlists and candidate threads are only visible to the email addresses on your account. We never share candidate data across customers, and our staff access is audited.
Retention & deletion
Live candidate data is retained while your subscription is active. On cancellation, we purge personal data within 30 days unless you request earlier deletion. Aggregated, non-identifying metrics may be retained for service quality.
ATS integration
None required. The whole process happens in your inbox, you can keep using whichever ATS you have today, or none at all. We don’t need write access to your hiring stack.

Where is candidate data stored, and who can see it?
EU-region AWS (Ireland), with backups in-region. Within Referment, only the people working your account can see your shortlists. Within your team, only the email addresses on your account can see candidate threads. Full DPA available on request.
How do you guarantee candidate quality?
Every CV is read in full and scored against your actual brief, not just keywords. You see the reasoning. Your replies on each candidate retune the search the next day. If a shortlist consistently misses, your dedicated account manager gets involved.
What happens during the 30-day trial?
No card is taken. You brief one role, we run it like any paying customer would. At the end of 30 days, you choose whether to add a card and continue. If not, the account just pauses, no charges, no data sold on, nothing happens automatically.
How does Core differ from Single-role?
Single is built around a single live role at a time, great for founders or small teams. Core lifts that to 5 live roles in parallel and adds a dedicated account manager. The underlying Digital Recruiter is the same on both plans.
Do we have to integrate with our existing ATS?
No. Everything happens by email. You can keep using your current ATS or hiring tracker as-is, we don’t need write access. If you do want shortlists pushed into a system, we can do that on Core and Growth via a simple webhook.
What are the contract terms?
Month-to-month. No notice period, no exit fee, no per-hire commission. Cancel at any time from a link in any of our emails. Annual billing is available on request for procurement teams that prefer it.
Where can you hire?
UK, EU, and US-based roles today. Other regions on request, if your candidate market is reachable in English on the major job boards, we can usually run it.
