Referment have partnered with one of the worlds greatest hedge funds, known to be pioneers in the field of scientific research and quantitative trading. They have an exciting opportunity available for a SQL Server Database Engineer in London to work in their global infrastructure team.
This role requires an experienced database expert with very strong automation skills and extensive experience with SQL Server databases, You will be working on building the existing database environment, workflows and driving the use of automation to improve operational processes in this role and get the chance to work in a team of world class technologists on the latest tools and technologies.

Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- In depth knowledge of SQL Server database platforms
- Strong automation skills with scripting languages such as Python or Powershell
- Experience with wider infrastructure technologies and security standards
- Experience working in a hedge fund, prop trading firm or financial institution (beneficial)
