Referment have partnered with a leading hedge fund who are known to be at the forefront of technology and innovation. They have an exciting opportunity available in their technology team for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer.
This role is focused on improving the reliability, scalability and performance of their global infrastructure platform, working closely alongside developers and infrastructure engineers across the firm to build distributed applications and automation solutions. The successful applicant should have strong scripting and programming skills as well as experience with DevOps tools such at Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform.

Key Requirements
- Expert knowledge of cloud native and containerisation tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Extensive experience with Linux systems administration.
- Strong scripting and programming skills in languages like Python and Golang
- Experience with distributed data platforms such as Kafka, Airflow and Flink
- In depth knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of observability systems (Prometheus, ELK, Jaeger, Opentelemetry, Service Meshes etc.)
