Job description
A global leading Systematic Hedge Fund are seeking a skilled Senior Software Architect to work alongside their newly appointed Portfolio Manager. This is a dynamic firm that utilise bleeding-edge technology to place the best computer-driven trading strategies to trade multiple asset classes using both the smartest and quickest techniques.
This is a highly technical role, which will require an architect with deep experience in Java, SQL and preferably experience with time-series data. It will involve designing and developing next-gen HFT simulation systems and building out their time-series database for these new trading systems. It will involve working closely with the newly appointed portfolio manager, so ability to communicate with the business is essential.

- Solid software architect experience
- Over 5+ years of Java software engineering
- Strong SQL experience
- Previously worked within the buy-side space - Advantageous
- Working experience with time-series data
- Linux experience
