Referment have an exciting opportunity available with a global systematic hedge fund who are currently expanding their business due to a number of years of strong performance. The business operations team, under the COO, is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join in London. The successful candidate will be building and delivering solutions for the Operations team and the work will involve designing tools to automate processes, building reports, dashboard and new frameworks using Python.
This is a business critical role and the successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on multiple projects at any given time and very closely with senior stakeholders. You will get the chance to work with cutting edge technologies and within a team of very smart and capable software developers.
Key Requirements
8+ years of software development experience (ideally in financial services)
Strong Python programming skills
Extensive experience building dashboards to visually represent large data sets
Experience designing frameworks and tools from scratch
Strong stakeholder management skills
Degree in Computer Science or similar field
