Job description
Referment is working closely with a global hedge fund headquartered in London that are growing their technology team as a result of good performance and expanding into new markets. They're seeking a Python Technology Analyst to work on their Front Arena system, which is crucial for their front, middle and back office operations. This role is vital for enhancing these systems, which is pivotal for supporting the wider business.
It is essential that the successful applicant comes from an Engineering background to build solutions for PnL, Risk Management and position keeping. It is essential that you have strong experience with Python and have worked in an environment that has given you exposure to pricing systems and financial instruments. This firm offers a collaborative environment and are keen on strong problem solvers who have an entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Requirements
Strong Python programming experience
Familiarity with pricing and financial instruments
BSc and/or MSc in Engineering/Physics/Maths
Worked with Front Arena, JPM Athena and/or Quartz - Advantageous
Strong communication skills
