Job description
Referment is working with one of London's premium hedge funds, known to be at the forefront of technology and innovation. They have an exciting opportunity available in their platform engineering team for an experienced network automation specialist to be responsible for building and maintaining their global network estate, using automation tools and technology to improve the speed and efficiency of their internal network.
The successful applicant should have a strong background in Cisco networking and extensive experience building and deploying datacentre networks including Cisco ACI and SD-WAN. Strong knowledge with networking automation tools and scripting is also essential for this role as you will be driving the use of network automation and helping to evolve the technology stack as the lead engineer for the team.

Key Requirements
- Strong experience designing networks using Cisco products including Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-WAN
- Extensive network automation and scripting skills (Python, Ansible etc)
- Experience with firewalls and load balancers
- Familiarity with VMware vSphere virtualization platform
- Good experience with Linux management/operations
