Referment have an exciting opportunity available with a leading financial institution for a Head of Infrastructure to join their London technology team. Reporting into the CTO, you will be responsible for managing a well established infrastructure team that has been built over the last few years. This includes all engineering and support initiatives across the infrastructure stack including Networking, DevOps, Servers, Desktop and Security.
The successful applicant must have experience managing medium-large infrastructure teams in a trading environment, ideally for hedge fund or trading firm. Prior experience managing technology budgets and large scale infrastructure strategic projects is essential to be considered for this role, as well as a strong technical background in infrastructure engineering and automation.
This is a very unique role for a senior leader to join a growing financial institution with a great engineering culture and technology stack. You will be managing a team of exceptional engineers who are building and maintaining an infrastructure platform which supports the entire business, including quant researchers, portfolio managers and C-level stakeholders.
