Referment have partnered with a global Commodity focused Hedge Fund who are looking for a Director of Technology to join their team in London.
As the Director of Technology you will play a crucial role in shaping and leading the technological strategy to support sophisticated trading operations and the development of the companies trading platforms.
This is a great opportunity to join a relatively young business that is looking to grow and scale their technology function significantly over the next 12 to 24 months.
To be considered for the position, experience with the following would be advantageous:
- 10 years of experience within the financial services sector, with a strong preference for prior experience in a hedge fund or trading environment
- Strong quantitative skills to work closely with quantitative analysts to understand, implement, and optimize mathematical models that drive trading strategies
- Deep knowledge of cloud systems and architecture
- • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, and R is crucial.
