Referment are working with a globally renowned Hedge Fund to find a Senior Development Database Administrator to deliver high quality database solutions. This is a technology focussed Hedge Fund that are out performing their competitors and growing further as a result.
This role will require a highly skilled DBA with advanced database development experience in designing, implementing and supporting highly available platforms. This role will see the successful applicant work closely with the business and development teams. The ideal candidate will be able to interface to development teams and be able to manage large SQL Server estates.
This is an opportunity to work with a wide range of database technologies, which is hosted on the cloud.
Key Requirements
- At least 5 years experience as Database Engineer managing large enterprise SQL Database estates
- Advanced level of SQL Server
- Solid data modelling techniques
- Experienced with T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS
- Coding experience with either or both Python or PowerShell
- Experience with AWS or Azure
- Financial Markets experience - Desirable
- Experienced with SnowFlake or Synapse - Desirable
