Referment is working with one of London’s leading hedge funds, known to be at the forefront of technology and innovation. They have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join their market data and analytics team which supports the front office in building and maintaining a cutting-edge data platform that enables the quants and portfolio managers to make good investment decisions.
This role will give the successful candidate huge scope for impact and the chance to work on a variety of data engineering projects across a large technology stack and as such, applicants should have a real passion for the latest tools and technologies as well as be confident speaking to stakeholders within the business.

Key Requirements:
1-4 year’s OO programming experience (ideally Python)
Strong SQL skills
Experience working on open-source technologies such as ElasticSearch, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Airflow
Degree/MSc in Computer Science or similar academic studies
