Job description
Referment has partnered with a leading commodities trading firm who have a new opening in their operations technology team here in London. They have a number of new projects to deliver for their Shipping/Freight business and as such, need an experienced Business Analyst/Project Management with strong domain knowledge to join the team.
The projects will involve some key integration work between their Veson IMOS and ETRM platform and also overseeing the build out of a new P&L reconciliation engine. The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of Veson IMOS and a lot of experience within the Shipping/Freight space to be considered for this role.
This is a chance to come into a new role for the company and work on a number of high profile projects that will involve direct interaction with the Head of Freight Trading and C-Level stakeholders within the business. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled software developers and have a lot of exposure to the wider business and technology teams in this role.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years commodities experience in a trading environment working as a Business Analyst/Project Manager
- Deep understanding of commodities business concepts and workflows, specifically around Shipping/Freight
- Strong understanding of risk and PnL processes
- In depth knowledge of Veson IMOS
