One of the worlds leading Hedge Funds who are at the forefront of technology have an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Engineer to join their team in London. This is a unique position, which will enable the lucky individual to impact the firms Cloud implementation, strategy and the architecture.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the firms public cloud environments and be involved in writing code as well with Python or Go and using scripting languages like Bash and PowerShell. It will be a collaborative role, involving working closely with developers and senior stakeholders in gathering requirements and working with data centres too for cloud migrations. It's a rewarding role with a wide range of responsibilities that will involve building Kubernetes containers to supporting and running their cloud environment.
Key Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years experience working with high-available services on public cloud (AWS)
Expert knowledge on Kubernetes and Terraform
Good experience with automation and scripting using either Python, Bash or PowerShell
Experience with Docker
Strong knowledge on Linux Administration
Strong knowledge with source control systems
A computer science degree
