Referment has partnered with a leading hedge fund in the search for a C++ Developer to join a new market data and exchange connectivity team here in London. The fund has been expanding into new asset classes, especially within the OTC derivatives and systematic trading space, meaning the complexity of the technology that support these businesses is evolving and they need to revamp some of the core technology stack.
The successful C++ Developer will be working alongside the Quant Trading team to develop and support the FIX-based connectivity layer for trading and market data. You will be responsible for building new tooling for FIX feed onboarding, configuration and testing and developing software for both broker algo and DMA-connectivity.

Key Requirements
- Extensive C++ development experience on Linux
- In depth knowledge of FIX protocols across broker connectivity and trading execution platforms (QuickFIX libraries)
- Strong knowledge Computer Science fundamentals (OO programming, data structures, algorithms)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
