Job description
Referment is recruiting for a C++ Developer role with one of London's leading hedge funds. With a culture that revolves around technology and innovation, they are currently in the process of building a new market data development team focused on building all of the feed handlers and connectivity systems that provide market insights for some of the most senior traders and portfolio managers within the fund.
The successful applicant will be joining a growing team and be responsible for writing low latency, multi-threaded C++ code for a series of new in house market data systems. You will also be responsible for some of the key stakeholder relationships on the business side in this team.

Key Requirements
- Extensive experience writing C++ code on Linux systems (C++11/17/20)
- In depth knowledge of systems design, data structures and computing fundamentals
- Experience building market data feed handlers and/or working with market data vendor API's (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrable project ownership experience; from conception to production
