Job description

Referment are currently working with a market-leading technology company dedicated to enhancing the performance of active investment managers. 

My client needs to keep building a pipeline to achieve their growth targets. To help them do that, they are looking for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will help execute on business strategy and focussing on market themes giving rise to potential Escrow and corporate payment opportunities.

Key Requirements
  • Detailed Escrow knowledge and understanding of where to source opportunities
  • Proven track record in business development within the legal sector or corporate financial services, including strategic account management
  • Experience in corporate business development or transactional experience, comfortable with all levels of seniority when selling or negotiating
  • A legal, or corporate services background, with a deep understanding of fund flows and deal mechanics
  • Commercial and entrepreneurial persona with a solutions-orientated “roll your sleeves up” approach
  • Superior spoken, written and visual communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to co-develop the Escrow strategy, identify new market and product opportunities and enhancements
  • This is a self-starter role requiring organisation, discipline and motivation, and a very high level of prominence and gravitas
