Referment have partnered with one of the worlds leading high frequency trading firms who have an exciting opportunity available in their London team for a bright and enthusiastic Trading Systems Support Engineer.
Working directly with front office stakeholders, you will be responsible for providing technical support across their OMS and Market Data delivery systems that involve every major electronic exchange and asset class. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience working in a technical support role with the financial services sector, and have strong scripting skills with languages like Bash and Python.
You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects, alongside with day to day support on multiple complex applications that are critical to the business performances. Key Requirements
- 2-5 years experience working in a technical support role on electronic trading systems
- A degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or Shell
- Extensive experience supporting applications on Linux
- Knowledge of SQL and databases
- Good understanding of financial markets and various asset classes
