Job description
Referment have partnered with an award winning FinTech firm that specialise in building quantitative trading and risk platforms for hedge funds and trading institutions. They are looking to build a brand new market making desk in London as as such, looking for a mid to senior level Quant/Trader to come in an head up this new desk.
This role will initially involve advising on challenges and market environments for this new market making desk and then eventually own the P&L and day to day trading responsibilities, leveraging the existing technology and quant development teams working within the firm.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial market maker to come in and build a brand new desk from scratch and work alongside a team of highly talented technologists.
Key Requirements:
Extensive experience working in automated market making trading (at least 3 years of experience)
Strong financial markets knowledge across various asset classes (options expertise is highly desirable)
Hands on programming experience and technical skills such as Python, R, C++ etc.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to influence others
