Referment have partnered with a global high frequency trading firm who have some of the greatest technologists and traders in the world. They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Trading Operations Engineer to join their London team and lead a small team of engineers who are responsible for supporting the ultra low latency trading applications across multiple asset classes.
This is a fully hands on position and you will be responsible for providing technical support to their systematic trading flow as well as working on projects related to improving automation standards and deployments for the team. The successful candidate must have strong scripting skills and extensive experience with Unix/Linux as well as excellent stakeholder management skills.
This is a chance for a senior engineer to step up into a lead position. Working in a small team and fast paced environment, the work will be both varied and impactful and you get the opportunity to work on the latest technologies.
Key Requirements
5 years + in an electronic trading support role
Excellent product knowledge in either Equities, Futures, FX or Fixed Income markets
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix
Extensive scripting experience with either Python or Bash
In depth knowledge of SQL
Working knowledge of FIX protocol
