A global leading Commodities Trading firm are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer with a wide range of experience in Financial Services, preferably developing front office applications to work in their Core Trading Systems team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on Greenfield projects, interact with the wider business (Quants, Traders and Analysts) for fathering requirements and provide solutions using the best technology.
This is a senior role, which will require deep skills in C# software development across the full stack to work on business-critical systems. The scope of work will include building out real-time data systems, PnL systems and highly transactional trading systems, which are used for trading energy. They're a tech driven organisation who adopt the latest technology practices from using TDD, Agile methodologies, AWS cloud & DevOps tools.
Key Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years experience with C# programming
Passionate about using the latest technologies
Ability to work across the full stack, preferably SQL, .Net Core and ReactJS
Experience in building API's and working on distributed systems
Good communication skills with the ability to work with Traders and Analysts
Experienced in working on Financial systems e.g, Trading Systems, Market Data Systems or Risk Systems
Commodities experience - Advantageous
