Referment are working with a global Hedge Fund who are looking for a talented and self-starting Desktop Support Engineer to join their team in London, to provide exceptional service delivery across the company.
The Desktop Support Engineer will have at least 5 years' experience supporting Windows Desktop/Server environments and want to work with the latest tools and concepts to continuously improve the company's Desktop environment.
Key Requirements:
At least 5 years' experience working in a Desktop Support role, ideally in a pressured environment supporting Traders, Brokers or Portfolio Managers
Solid technical understanding of Windows, Citrix, Exchange and Active Directory infrastructures
A keen interest in new technologies and how they can work within a desktop environment such as Powershell / Python scripting
Excellent communication and confident when dealing with challenging situations
