Referment is working with a well-funded FinTech firm that is seeking a Scala Software Developer to come work on their new digital trading product and to champion the connectivity part of their Greenfield Crypto platform , which integrates with all their Crypto Exchanges.
Ideally the successful applicant will have solid experience with Scala development, but they are willing to look at strong Java Software Engineers who would be interested in cross training in Scala. This organisation are utilising the latest and greatest technology tools & practices. This trading platform will be hosted on AWS and it will require a passionate technologist with an appreciation for DevOps.

Key Requirements
- 3+ years of Scala Development experience and/or Java
- Experience with wither Scalaz/Cats/Reactive Streams/FS2/Slick libraries
- Ideally worked within the financial services space with experience in FIX protocol
- Functional programming experience
