Referment is working with a high-frequency prop trading firm in London to help them find a QA Automation Engineer to work on their Trading Systems and core technology infrastructure. This organisation seek perfection with software engineering practices and delivering fault tolerant low-latency systems. Due to their high performance over the last year, they are growing rapidly across all departments and are offering a great opportunity for the right QA Engineer.
Within this role you will be contributing to architecture, designs, and codebase in order to identify potential problems, designing and implementing solutions to guide their engineers, ensuring their software meets the highest standards. You will work closely with the development teams, stakeholders and other testers to deliver the slickest automation systems.
This is a pivotal role within one of the highest performing HFT firms in the world for a technical QA to progress within a firm and within their career, where their input will improve the time sensitivity for their trading systems.

Key Requirements
- 2-4 years experience of programming (preferably in python but other languages like C++ and Java will be considered)
- A Computer Science degree or similar
- Extensive experience with BDD and/or TDD
- A developer in test mindset
- Experience within financial services
- Proven experience in building automation frameworks
