Job description
Referment is working closely with a Quant Systematic Trading Firm that operates across the global markets. They have a tight-knit team that are highly motivated and successful within the space and have been building an automated systematic trading platform that is capitalising on the Commodities markets. They are seeking an Python Data Engineer to help grow their business and work closely with the researchers in engineering data delivery systems.
The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills as you'll work closely with the business and be providing insights into revenue generating opportunities. You will need strong object-orientated Python programming experience and have experience in building CI/CD pipelines and cleansing, pre-processing and general wrangling of data. They host their systems on AWS, so experience with this is advantageous. Experience within the Commodities space is a major advantage as you'll be dealing with multi-TB of commodities data from various regions.
