Job description
Referment is working with a leading systematic hedge fund who have an exciting opportunity in their Production Engineering team, a team that provides front office technical support for their systematic trading desks and also helps to improve the environment through monitoring, automation and building news tools/processes.
This is a broad role that will offer the successful applicant a chance to work on a wide variety of tools and applications. Experience working in a fast paced application support role is required for this role as well as strong scripting skills with languages such as Powershell and Python. You will get extensive exposure to the business and be responsible for supporting a number of mission critical systems that ultimately generate revenue for the fund.

Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a front office application support/technical support role
- Strong scripting skills with languages like Powershell/Python
- In depth knowledge of SQL
- Experience monitoring trading systems and building tools
- Good understanding of financial markets; i.e. Equities, Commodities, FX Fixed Income products
