Referment are currently working with a SaaS FinTech company that are dedicated to reducing the costs of trading derivatives. They have built a cloud-based service that provides analytics and workflow solutions within the trade execution.
They are currently looking to hire a Sales Executive, who will be responsible for originating new business predominantly within the Hedge Fund and Commodity sector. You will work closely alongside the Head of Sales. This will be the perfect role for someone looking to take their next step and take on greater responsibility. You will likely come from an Account Executive, Sales Support or pure Sales/BD role. You will be a part of a small sales team focused on converting inbound leads and generating opportunities by leveraging your existing network.
Experience in the Hedge Fund space and wanting to move deeper into sales could be desirable!
Experience working within the Prime Brokerage space is desirable too.
You may have worked for a software vendor in the trading and risk area. You very likely will have worked in a presales, client services, product management or consulting role where you will have developed detailed knowledge of the product, and then made a move into sales.
Alternatively, you may have worked in a sales or business development role for a bank or financial services firm selling services to other financials e.g. collateral or clearing services.
There is no need to have previously worked in software sales, but client facing experience is a key requirement.
