Referment are working with a leading Hedge Fund to find the best Cloud Engineer to join their technology team. This firm takes pride in utilising the best technologies and practices to make them competitive across the buy-side space. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Cloud Engineer to leave their mark on the organisation's cloud implementation, strategy and architecture design.
Within this role you'll be working closely with the Portfolio Managers and be involved in writing code whether it's Python, Terraform or Puppet and be encouraged to automate processes.You will be involved in the build and maintenance of their Kubernetes platform, collaborating with development teams and keeping abreast with the latest trends and technologies with Cloud computing. Extensive AWS experience will be required but they will be open to seeing people with experience in Azure.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years experience with architecting services on public cloud (AWS)
- Expert knowledge of immutable infrastructure
- Strong Kubernetes experience
- Automation experience using Python/Bash or PowerShell
- Strong Linux automation skills
- A computer Science or similar degree
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Must be comfortable with 1 week per month on-call time shared with team members
