Referment is working with a global Hedge Fund who are looking for a talented and self-starting Desktop Support Engineer to join their team in London, to provide a exceptional support service for the companies IT estate.
The Desktop Support Engineer will have at least 1 year of experience supporting Windows Desktop/Server environments and want to work with the latest tools and concepts to continuously improve the company's Desktop environment. You will be providing 1st line support for users at all levels within the London office.

Key Requirements:
- At least 1 years' of experience working in a Desktop Support role, ideally in a pressured environment supporting Traders, Brokers or Portfolio Managers
- Solid technical understanding of Windows, Citrix, Exchange and Active Directory infrastructures
- Strong knowledge of Mobile devices and Audio/Video Conferencing technologies
- A keen interest in new technologies and how they can work within a desktop environment such as Powershell / Python scripting
- Excellent communication and confident when dealing with challenging situations
