A global commodities trading house that is renowned for its entrepreneurial approach to technology within trading is rapidly growing due to their strong performance within the markets and their large forecasted technical roadmap. They are seeking a Data Engineer & BI Developer to join their London team.
This is an awesome position for a data technologist who is keen to break into financial services or currently works within the space. Technology is at the heart of this companies corporate strategy, so it will give the successful applicant a position to leave their stamp on the technology, processes and add value to the firm.
It is a critical role within the analytics team to work on their data architecture, data warehouse, ETL processes, reports and analytics to support the trading arm of the business.

Key Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Data Engineer/BI Developer
- Strong communication skills in order to work closely with the business
- A keen technologist who enjoys working with the latest technologies database technologies and is familiar with cloud technology.
- Their tech stack includes: T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, DAX and Python - Experience with any of these is of huge advantage
- Experience with database administration
- Good skills with data wrangling, cleansing and handling
