An elite Hedge Fund that implement best practices and utilise the best technologies are seeking a Data Engineer to join their London Data Analytics team. They have a cutting-edge data platform that is key for the firms success in managing the flow of data, API's that are ready for clients to ingest data, maintenance of their data lake and providing analytics for better decision making across investment teams.
This is an exciting opportunity for a innovative data technologist who is enthusiastic about using the best technologies that has experience with storing, transforming and modelling big data. This role will involve working in a team of skilled and highly motivated data engineers with time-series data, utilising best software engineering practices. You will work closely with Quants and Researchers, building systems and providing data science tools.
Key Requirements:
A Computer Science Degree
Strong experience with Python, Spark and Airflow
Strong analytical skills with a wide range of relational and non-relational database skills (SQL/NoSQL/MongoDB)
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Financial experience - Advantageous
