Job description

Referment is working with a bleeding-edge Crypto Proprietary Trading House in London to help find a C++ Software Engineer to join their Low-Latency team. The firm has been growing at an emphatic rate and has hired some great technologists over the past couple of years from prestigious trading firms. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a C++ Software Engineer who wants to work on Greenfield Low-Latency systems for trading and research. This role will see you work on optimising code for systems on micro/nanosecond timescales. This firm has built a great culture, which will enable software engineers to grow, learn and be the best they can be.

The successful applicant will have experience with the latest C++ technologies, Boost libraries and will use this to design and build best-in-class low latency trading solutions.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience with C++ development
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines 
  • Experience with C++17 & C++20
  • Strong code optimisation skills
  • Familiar with Boost libraries
  • Interest in Crypto Trading
Advantageous:

Though not necessarily required, the firm would love to speak to candidates with the following experiences, although training would be available if required.

  • Experience with low-latency systems from an HFT background
